Do you have work experience in electrical systems and troubleshooting? Are you looking for a unique opportunity to help move Gothenburg while gaining specialist knowledge about the tramway's signaling system? Then you might be our new colleague!

In our team, maintenance and contracting work of the signaling operations in the tram facilities in Gothenburg and Mölndal is carried out.

The group currently consists of nine people who together manage technical equipment along the entire tram network. We also work closely with our colleagues in switch mechanics and maintain a positive climate where we utilize everyone's expertise.

We work independently with inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, fault rectification, and new installations of switch controls and signaling safety systems. The technical equipment and tram network in Gothenburg are constantly evolving, creating many new opportunities. You will keep detailed documentation of completed tasks, repairs, and maintenance activities, ensuring that your installations comply with applicable technical standards and safety requirements. The work is physically demanding, and we work outdoors year-round - this is something we hope you appreciate as much as we do.

The work is often performed during the day, but night work and inconvenient working hours occur to a relatively high extent. Once experience is gained, on-call duty will be included in the position.

About You

Our primary focus is safety, which is why you are responsible and analytical, following up on your work to ensure high quality. You will collaborate with colleagues and operators to plan tasks and solve technical problems, which will place high demands on your ability to cooperate and your willingness to contribute to a good work environment. As our conditions can change at short notice, you need to be flexible and able to shift pace easily and adapt your working methods. To succeed in the role, we further see that you are driven and take the initiative to move the work forward, whether you work alone or with others.

You also have:

• High school education in electrical engineering or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way
• Experience as an electrician, including troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic digital competence
• Swedish driver's license with at least category B and completed probationary period

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance in electrical engineering
• Training in signaling/relay technology
• Forklift license
• Ability to read technical drawings

As the work takes place in the track area, this is a safety position. Therefore, employment requires health approval according to the Transport Agency's regulations (TSFS 2019:113), fitness certificate for hazardous substances (AFS 2019:3), and a passed drug test. For candidates who are relevant, the employer will cover the cost of visits to occupational health services.

We will place great emphasis on personal competencies.

Our proposed salary range for the position is 32,000 - 41,000 SEK. The final salary depends on how well the established requirements for the position are met.
